A town hall focused on wildfire risk and fire insurance is set for this Friday.
Sen. Marie Alvarado-Gil will be the guest speakers at the event, set for 1-2 p.m. at the Mariposa County Government Center.
The town hall will focus on wildfire risk reduction and insurance affordability.
The event will in the board chambers of the building, which is located at 5100 Bullion Street in mariposa.

There are several bills pending in the legislature targeted at these two issue.
The event is being hosted by the Mariposa Farm Bureau.
