The sign on the door of Subway says it is closed for maintenance and will reopen Feb. 24.
That was a month ago. The sign is still up. Subway is still closed.
Nate Pyle, who owns the building at 4998 7th Street in Mariposa, confirmed that plumbing issues forced the sandwich shop to close earlier this year.
He said it will reopen, but declined to elaborate.
Efforts to reach the Subway franchise owners were unsuccessful.
