musicWave

An annual community shredding event has been scheduled next month.

The event, annually sponsored by the Mariposa Methodist Church, will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, located at 6th and Bullion streets.

There is a suggested donation of $8 per standard file box.

Items that can be shredded include old time sheets, bank statements, pay stubs, checkbooks, legal files, utility bills, credit card statements, invoices, medical records and much more.

Individuals and businesses are invited. The documents will be shredded on site and people can watch. Discount Shred will be providing the service.

The parking lot behind the church will be where the event takes place.

For more information, call (209) 966-3419.
