Operation Eastern will once again take place in Mariposa County.
The annual undertaking helps local families in need receive Easter meals.
It is spearheaded by Mariposa Safe Families and also involves the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, Pioneer Market, Mariposa County Probation and the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Foundation.

The meals need to be reserved by 4 p.m. on Friday, March 27.
Meals will be available for pickup on April 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mariposa Safe Families center, located at 5070 Bullion Street in Mariposa.
In addition, members of the four agencies assisting with the program will be delivering meals as needed on April 3.
This program is for residents of Mariposa County only.
