JAIL BOOKING REPORT

Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

June 29 – Geoffrey Dean Prinz, 70, Coulterville, was arrested for threatening a crime: terrorize and spousal battery; Daniel Leon Boldroff, 59, Mariposa, was arrested for driving on a suspended license due to a DUI; William Robert Dewitt, 67, Mariposa, was arrested for spousal battery.

June 30 – Eric Albert Augsburger, 59, Mariposa, was arrested for obstructing a public officer, trespassing, disorderly conduct and assault with a deadly weapon, not a firearm; Tyler Creegan Harris, 48, Mariposa, was arrested for vehicle theft; Adam Carroll Volz, 53, Mariposa, was arrested on a probation violation; Keenen Nathaniel Johnson, 33, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct: alcohol. • Lance Wesley Dondero, 48, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct: alcohol.

July 1 – Arturo Isidro Garza, 31, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with two priors, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

July 2 – Terrance Ray Gamble, 67, Mariposa, was arrested for a probation violation; Kaleb Shane Kimbro, 24, Mariposa, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance; Dylen Lee Neal, 25, Mariposa, was arrested for battery with serious bodily injury.

July 3 – Nicole Renee Wanner, 32, Mariposa, was arrested for no vehicle registration and driving without a license; Gavin Brett Peters, 33, Catheys Valley, was arrested for violating a domestic violence court order.

July 4 – Wyatt Zane Hinton, 18, Mariposa, was arrested for driving on a suspended license; Kaliah Belle Cavagnaro, 39, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia.

July 5 – Victor Alvarenga, 21, Compton, was arrested for driving without a license, DUI and DUI over .08 percent.

SHERIFF’S REPORT

June 29 – Vandalism was reported in Mariposa. • Deputies investigated a report of grand theft on Old Highway North in Mariposa. • Vandalism was reported on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • A traffic collision occurred on Old Highway North in Mariposa.

June 30 – Trespassing was reported on Old Highway North in Mariposa. • Overdue subjects were reported on the Mist Trail in Yosemite National Park. • Harassment was alleged on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • A hit and run with property damage was investigated on Old Highway North in Mariposa. • Brandishing a weapon was reported on Ashworth Road in Mariposa. • Child abuse was reported on Peak View Road in Woodland.

July 1 – Disturbing the peace was reported on Ganns Corral Road in Mariposa. • A violation of a domestic order was investigated on Jones Street in Mariposa. • Petty theft was reported on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Child molestation was reported on Hirsch Road in Woodland. • A sexual assault was investigated on Park Lane in Coulterville.

July 2 – Suspicious circumstances were reported on Trabucco Street in Mariposa. • Sheriff’s officials took a report of a rape in Mariposa County. • Vandalism was reported on 10th Street in Mariposa. • Someone reported reckless driving on Bullion Street in Mariposa.

July 3 – No report available.

July 4 – There was a fire on Bear Trap Drive in Mount Bullion • The coroner was requested on the Upper Yosemite Fall trail in Yosemite Valley. • A welfare check was requested on Sebastopol Road in Bootjack. • A prowler was reported on Ponderosa Court in Ponderosa Basin.

July 5 – An accident with property damage was reported on Ashworth Road in Mariposa. • Illegal dumping was reported in Mariposa. • Mail theft was reported on Fairgrounds Road in Mariposa. • There was a domestic disturbance on Tulipan Way in Don Pedro. • Child abuse was reported on Colorado Road in Mariposa.

The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
