JAIL BOOKING REPORT

Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

June 1 – No bookings to report.

June 2 – Christopher Gordon Snyder, 42, Coulterville, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sell, prohibited person in possession of a firearm, prohibited person in possession of ammo and possession of unlawful paraphernalia. • Lauren Michelle Morris, 37, Coulterville, was arrested for criminal storage of a firearm and child abuse. • Carmen Evangelina Ordaz, 30, Modesto, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. • Lance Allen Sinklier, 54, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a bench warrant. • John Jeffrey Webb, 62, Mariposa, was arrested for exceeding 55 miles per hour on a two-lane road, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and driving under a suspended license.

June 3 – Ricky Paul Omelas, 42, Mariposa, was arrested for corporal injury to a spouse, child abuse, grand theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, vandalism, possession of a controlled substance, battery of a spouse and driving under the influence. • Amanda Blair Camarena, 40, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving drugs.

June 4 – Gildardo Echevarria, 48, La Grange, was arrested for driving under a suspended license, driving under the influence and driving under the influence with blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher. • Eric Jonathan Spencer, 40, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol. • Matthew Warren Coats, 63, Mariposa, was arrested for unpermitted camping on public property. • Katherine Leslie Page, 52, Mariposa, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. • Todd Douglas Ortega, 36, Oakdale, was arrested for using a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm without a permit, being under the influence of a controlled substance and carrying a concealed weapon inside a vehicle. • Erica Marie Hilburn, 40, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving drugs and alcohol.

June 5 – Alex Adolph Wolcott, 19, Mariposa, was arrested for assault and battery.

June 6 – Lenna Mary Horner, 51, Mariposa, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. • Will Travis Lord, 46, Porterville, was arrested for failure to appear after written promise and driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher.

June 7 – Kevin Andrew Bruss, 54, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol. • Taryn Mccreary, 36, Oakhurst, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol. • Erik Driscoll, 26, Sonora, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving drugs and alcohol.

SHERIFF’S REPORT

June 1 – A fire occurred on Old Highway South in Catheys Valley. • A welfare check was requested on Broadway in Coulterville. • A burglary was reported on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Threats were made on Woodland Drive in Woodland. • Petty theft occurred on E. Whitlock Road in Midpines.

June 2 – A scam was reported on Oakwoods Court in Catheys Valley. • Stalking occurred on Old Highway N. in Mariposa. • Animal cruelty was reported in Yosemite National Park. • A violation of a court order occurred on Oakridge Road in Woodland. • Trespassing was reported on Quail Run Road in Woodland.

June 3 – A health and safety violation occurred on Park Circle Drive in Greeley Hill. • A traffic collision occurred at Highway 49 and Ben Hur in Mariposa. • Vandalism was reported on E. Whitlock Road in Midpines. • Trespassing occurred on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on Dogtown Road in Greeley Hill.

June 4 – Vandalism was reported on Park Lane in Coulterville. • Fraud occurred on Oakridge Road in Woodland. • Reckless driving was reported on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Harassment occurred on Foresta Road in El Portal.

June 5 – A suspicious vehicle was reported on Nutter Ranch Road in Ponderosa Basin. • An ambulance was requested on Highway 140 in Catheys Valley. • Reckless driving occurred on Torre Drive in Don Pedro. • Suspicious circumstances were reported on Highway 49 South in Ponderosa Basin.

June 6 – A traffic collision occurred at Holtzel Road and Ernst Road in Greeley Hill. • Child abuse was reported in the Mariposa area. • Vandalism occurred on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Someone was driving under influence on Highway 140 in Midpines. • Someone was disturbing the peace on Main Street in Coulterville.

June 7 – A burglar alarm was reported on Ponderosa Court in Ponderosa Basin. • A health and safety violation occurred on Hirsch Road in Woodland. • Threats were made on Joe Howard Street in Mariposa. • Grand theft occurred on Wass Road in Woodland. • A suspicious person was reported on Fournier Road in Mariposa.

The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
