JAIL BOOKING REPORT

Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

May 25 – Charles Leigh Williams, 25, Coulterville, was arrested for carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and battery.

May 26 – Christopher Gordon Snyder, 42, Lake Don Pedro, was arrested for being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. • Christopher Daniel Ryan, 29, Mariposa, was arrested for obstructing a public officer and disorderly conduct.

May 27 – Jennifer Leanne Beck, 29, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. • Jonathan Mishael Bay, 41, Mariposa, was arrested for attempted murder and aggravated mayhem. • Gabriel Nehemiah O’neill, 45, Raymond, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and battery of a spouse. • Darren Rex Hise, 66, Merced, was arrested for conspiracy to commit crime, actively participating in a criminal street gang, bringing drugs/alcohol into jail, possession of a controlled substance and selling, transporting or giving away marijuana without a legal license.

May 28 – No bookings to report.

May 29 – Lisa Lindgren, 58, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance. • Devan Allen Hammer, 33, Mariposa, was arrested for attempting to prevent or dissuade a crime victim or witness from participating in the legal process, assault with a deadly weapon, corporal injury to a spouse, first degree burglary, vandalism and battery. • Kaleb Shane Kimbro, 24, Mariposa, was arrested for being a prohibited person in possession of ammunition.

May 30 – Tyler Creegan Harris, 46, Mariposa, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

May 31 – Matthew Warren Coates, 63, Mariposa, was arrested for a felony failure to appear bench warrant.

SHERIFF’S REPORT

May 25 – An ambulance was requested on Romero Street in Don Pedro. • Harassment was reported on Watt Road in Ponderosa Basin. • A welfare check was requested on Dogtown Road in Greeley Hill. • A burglary was reported on Lavender Hill Road in Bootjack. • Suspicious circumstances occurred on Falcon Lane in Bootjack.

May 26 – A runaway was reported on Royal Oaks Court in Mariposa. • Trespassing occurred on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • A scam was reported on Totokon Road in Mariposa. • Someone was a danger to self or others on Copper Leaf Drive in Mt. Bullion. • Identity theft occurred on Harris Cut-Off Road in Ponderosa Basin.

May 27 – Child abuse was reported on Parmabelle Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Assault/ battery occurred on Pautzke Court in Ponderosa Basin. • An ambulance was requested on Fiske Road in Greeley Hill. • Violation of a court order occurred on Banderilla Drive in Don Pedro.

May 28 – Someone was a danger to self/ others on Shy Fox Lane in Greeley Hill. • Brandishing was reported on Trabucco Street in Mariposa. • A traffic stop occurred on 10th Street in Mariposa. • A bar check occurred on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • A traffic hazard was reported at Highway 49 and Boyer Road in Woodland.

May 29 – A 911 hangup occurred on Highway 140 in El Portal. • A house check occurred on Indian Peak Road in Bootjack. • A scam was reported on Club Drive in Mariposa. • A violation of a court order occurred on Guadalupe Creek Road in Mariposa. • Trespassing was reported on St. Andrews Road in Mariposa.

May 30 – A suspicious person was reported on Hospital Road in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on E. Westfall Road in Mariposa. • A burglar alarm was reported on Joe Howard Street in Mariposa. • Lost property was reported on Highway 49 N. in Mariposa. • Extra patrol was requested on Stroming Road in Mariposa.

May 31 – An animal was reported on Grosjean Road in Mariposa. • Threats were made on Snow Creek Fall in Mariposa. • Harassment occurred on 10th Street in Mariposa. • A domestic disturbance was reported on 13th Street in Mariposa.

The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
