JAIL BOOKING REPORT

Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

March 23 – Jody Glen Potter, 37, Mariposa, was arrested for identity theft and possessing stolen credit/debit cards.

March 24 – Marcy Ann Baldwin, 49, Midpines, was arrested for threatening crime with intent to terrorize, possession of a controlled substance and obstructing a public officer. • Thomas David Harry, 23, Modesto, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol. • Christopher Niel Harris, 34, Mariposa, was arrested for domestic battery.

March 25 – Ronald Jay Castillo, 46, Coulterville, was arrested for grand theft of wages and possession of a stolen vehicle.

March 26 – Liliana Lynn Nolasco-Bork, 26, Mariposa, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

March 27 – Anthony Duane Hight, 40, Merced, was arrested for driving under a DUI related suspended license.

March 28 – No bookings to report. March 29 – No bookings to report.

SHERIFF’S REPORT

March 23 – Identity theft occurred on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • Suspicious circumstances were reported on Hernandez Drive in Don Pedro. • Elder/dependent adult abuse was reported on Stout Lane in Greeley Hill. • A domestic disturbance occurred on Lake McSwain in Hornitos. • A burglary was reported on Yaqui Gulch Road in Mariposa.

March 24 – Suspicious circumstances were reported on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on Buckskin Road in Bootjack. • Brandishing occurred at Sierra Gardens in Mariposa. • Driving under the influence occurred at the Monarch Inn in Mariposa. • A traffic collision occurred on Highway 49 North and Schilling in Coulterville.

March 25 – An animal was reported on Meadow View Drive in Bootjack. • A fire occurred on Hunters Point in Bear Valley. • Fraud was reported on Hornitos Road in Catheys Valley. • A vehicle check occurred on Highway 140 in Mt. Bullion. • A welfare check was requested on Madison Avenue in Coulterville.

March 26 – A house check occurred on Jones Street in Mariposa. • Trespassing was reported on Coulterville Road in Greeley Hill. • An ambulance was requested on Whitmore Drive in Ponderosa Basin. • An animal was reported on Highway 140 in El Portal. • Fraud occurred on Darrah Road in Bootjack.

March 27 – An abandoned vehicle was reported on Jessie Street in Mariposa. • A welfare check occured on Darrah Road in Bootjack. • A scam was reported on 10th Street in Mariposa. • A traffic hazard occurred at the William Sell Bridge in Mariposa. • Trespassing was reported on Sugar Pine Drive in Greeley Hill.

March 28 – Disturbing the peace occurred on Wagner Road in Greeley Hill. • A burglar alarm was reported on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on Colorado Road in Midpines. • Reckless driving was reported on Main Street in Coulterville. • A scam occurred on Triangle Road in Mariposa.

March 29 – Someone was a danger to self or others on Mormon Bar Crossing in Mariposa. • Unsafe shooting occurred on Schoolhouse Road in Catheys Valley. • Grand theft was reported on Mt. Bullion Cut-Off Road in Mt. Bullion. • A suspicious person was reported on Darrah Road in Bootjack.

The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
