McLane a nice change

Editor,

I am writing this letter to support Adam McLane who is one of three running for Supervisor in District 1. My opinion does not reflect the local radio station to which I belong. This is just me observing the race.

If you listened to the debate you heard Adam giving strong examples of what he would do. He seeks to be a leader and promote sensible growth for our future. We cannot take a chance that Mariposa be a ghost town, like other areas might be facing.

He is not afraid to look at what must be looked at, and his creative mind comes up with some surprisingly creative solutions. I hear too many making up their mind that it wouldn’t work here, even before he has finished his sentence.

He is not a liberal or conservative, neither Republican or Democrat. He is a community man with a strong moral compass that does not leave anyone out.

His history here, though not decades long, is impressive. Ask the 700-plus people he helped feed during the shutdown. He is action based and gets results.

Wouldn’t that be a nice change of pace.
