My name is Brook Allen and I am announcing my candidacy for the Madera County Board of Supervisors, District 5.
I am running to bring disciplined leadership, fiscal stewardship and transparent governance to the citizens of Madera County.
I was raised in the local area and have a lifelong commitment to the prosperity of our region.
Since 2022, I have served as an elected trustee for the Yosemite Unified School District, where I have participated in budget oversight, policy evaluation and governance decisions focused on fiscal accountability and transparent communication.
I was selected by my peers to serve as board president during my tenure and I continue to serve as a trustee advocating for students, parents and taxpayers.
Outside of public service, I am the founder and corporate president of The Rusty Piston and the founder and operator of Lepley Trees.
Since 2015, I have led these organizations through strategic planning, personnel leadership, financial oversight and regulatory compliance. Building and restructuring businesses has required disciplined execution, risk assessment and data-driven decision making to ensure long term stability and growth.
From 1998 to 2015, I worked in dealership service and technical operations, earning the elite rank of Master Technician in 1999. In that role I specialized in advanced diagnostics and served as a lead technical resource responsible for resolving complex electronic and mechanical failures.
That experience shaped my leadership approach. I identify root causes and implement durable solutions rather than temporary fixes.
Earlier in my career I completed intensive training at Jamestown CAL FIRE training facility and served in public safety roles as a firefighter and tree faller.
I also served four years in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, a federally chartered youth leadership organization sponsored by the Navy League of the United States. These experiences established a foundation of discipline, accountability and service that continues to guide my work.
My leadership philosophy is grounded in fiscal stewardship, direct accountability and data-driven decision making. Public funds are a sacred trust and every decision must be traceable back to the welfare of families and taxpayers.
Government systems require constant evaluation to remain efficient, transparent and responsive to community needs.
My priorities for District 5 include strengthening responsible economic development, supporting small businesses, improving infrastructure reliability, advancing hazard mitigation and public safety readiness, maintaining critical road systems and ensuring disciplined oversight of county resources.
District 5 plays an important role in the identity and prosperity of Madera County and our communities deserve consistent advocacy and fair representation.
Throughout my career in business, public safety and public governance, I have focused on restoring functionality to systems and strengthening the relationships that allow communities to thrive.
I am committed to serving District 5 with integrity, discipline and accountability. Visit www.brookallenformaderacounty.org, email Brookallenforsupervisor@gmail.com or call (559) 760-6578.
