The Arts Council is seeking individuals who care deeply about the cultural vitality of the region and want to help shape the future of arts, culture and creative opportunity in Mariposa County.

Community members from diverse backgrounds, professions and lived experiences are encouraged to apply.

The Mariposa County Arts Council has a governing board whose members guide the organization’s strategic direction, support fundraising and community engagement efforts and serve as ambassadors for the arts throughout the county.

• Four board meetings annually

• One annual board retreat

• Participation on one or two committees (meeting four to six times per year)

Committees include Executive, Finance, Governance, Nominating and Community Engagement/Fund Development.
