The annual Memorial Day ceremony in Mariposa is set for Saturday.
The Keith M. Bertken Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6042 annually host the event.
This will be the 79th annual community Memorial Day ceremony in Mariposa.
It will take place Saturday, May 23, at 10 a.m. at the Mariposa Community Cemetery, located at 43479 Joe Howard Road, across from the former Rite Aid.
During the ceremony, there will be guest speakers as well as wreaths placed in honor of America’s war dead.
