The Mariposa Democratic Club will be moderating a live forum for candidates running for the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors District 1 seat.
District 1 includes El Portal, Fish Camp, Jerseydale, Midpines, Yosemite Valley and Yosemite West.
The forum will be held at Midpines Hall on May 9 at 10 a.m. It will be preceded by a pancake and coffee breakfast ($10) from 9-10. This event is open to the public.
The Mariposa Democratic Club has invited the candidates running for this seat — Stanley Bissmeyer, Lisa Edelheit and Adam McLane — to the forum so that the public can learn about their backgrounds, qualifications, and visions for District 1.
There will be time for candidates to answer questions from a moderator and the audience.
