Art, wine, food and community come together again on Thursday, June 18, from 5-8 p.m. as the Oakhurst Art & Wine Hop returns to locations throughout downtown Oakhurst.
Held on the third Thursday of each month from May through October, the Art Hop invites locals and visitors alike to explore galleries and local businesses featuring talented artists, wine tasting, delicious food and plenty of Sierra foothill charm near Yosemite National Park.
A special highlight of the June event is the Yosemite Sierra Artists (YSA) 55th Annual Exhibition at Yosemite Gateway Art Center. This milestone exhibit features artwork by more than 50 artists and celebrates the organization’s 55 years of supporting and promoting the visual arts in the Yosemite region.
Participating venues and featured artists include:
• Yosemite Wine Tails: John Richard Minney and Erin Alstrom Cook
• Oakhurst Spirits: Gina Mims, Luke Schaftary and Jennifer Moss
• Yosemite Gateway Art Center: Susan Cawthon and the YSA 55th Annual Exhibition
• Yosemite Sierra Artists Gallery: Lubov Pavluk and Carolie Jensen
• Elderberry House: Kathy Marks, Laurie Rose Harry and Sandra Lee Scott
• Fairfield Inn & Suites: Kathy Kabbani, Meredy Wells and Craig Schub
• Bodys by Boyd: Tricia Nickerbocker, Cynthia Bernd and Sheila Boyd
Guests will enjoy free admission to view art while wine tasting is available with the purchase of an official keepsake tasting glass for $20. When you bring it back the following month, you can participate in wine tasting for half price at $10.
A free trolley connects participating locations throughout the evening or you can drive yourself following the map.
Whether winding down after a day in Yosemite National Park, enjoying a getaway at Bass Lake or simply looking for a unique evening in the Sierra foothills, Oakhurst Art & Wine Hop offers a memorable blend of creativity, local flavor and small-town hospitality.
Guests are invited to continue the celebration with live music at Yosemite Wine Tails beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Artists interested in participating in future Art Hops are encouraged to apply soon. Only a few artist spaces remain for the remainder of the 2026 season and a new Craft Experience is being added to the October season finale.
