Music on the Green continues its 36th season this weekend as the Mariposa County Arts Council presents another round of free live performances at the Mariposa County Art Park in downtown.

Terry Barnes and 2nd Wind will take the Art Park stage on Friday, June 19. Based out of Chowchilla, Terry Barnes has a unique and impressive style of finger picking acoustic guitar, a captivating voice and charismatic stage presence.

Along with partner Steve Barnes on percussion, they have proven to be a favorite of the Music on the Green concert series. They will have a special guest on lead guitar as well.

Home Tonight, from Mariposa, will return to Music on the Green on Saturday, June 20. Also a band consisting of partners, local favorite, Gail Dreifus, leads the way on guitar, ukulele and vocals with a repertoire of original music. She is accompanied by David Budries on keyboard and vocals.

Performances begin at 7 p.m. at the Mariposa County Art Park, located at 5013 Highway 140 in downtown Mariposa. Parking is available along 4th and 5th streets, with accessible pedestrian access via the lower 5th Street parking lot through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry.
