JAIL BOOKING REPORT
Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
July 20 – No bookings.

July 22 – Francisco Villa, 44, Turlock, was arrested for conspiracy to commit a crime and cultivating more than six marijuana plants.
July 23 – Ernie Don Delacruz, 33, Mariposa, was arrested for DUI any drug, driving without a license and no proof of insurance.
July 24 – Daniel Gamboa Onofre, 37, Palmdale, was arrested for disorderly conduct: alcohol. • Samuel Guadalupe Flores, 54, Mariposa, was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender. • Matthew Warren Coates, 47, Mariposa, was arrested for grand theft, receiving stolen property and unpermitted camping on public property. • Tanya Monique Aaron, 44, Mariposa, was arrested for DUI any drug.
July 25 – Brandon Lee Fairchild, 37, Mariposa, was arrested for unpermitted camping on public property, possession of a controlled substance and trespassing: refusing to leave property. • Steven Alan Lovejoy, 65, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance, addict driving a vehicle and DUI any drug. • Brian Edward Geller, 39, Mariposa, was arrested for driving without a license. • Edward Jordan Mendoza, 18, Oakhurst, was arrested for conspiracy to commit a crime, vandalism, vehicle theft and giving a false identification to a police officer.
July 26 – Armando Daniel Molina Villa, 25, Milpitas, was arrested for threating a crime and disorderly conduct: alcohol. • Antonio Mariano Cruz Perez, 30, Gilroy, was arrested on a warrant for being a fugitive.
SHERIFF’S REPORT
July 20 – A traffic hazard was reported on Bootjack Lane in Bootjack. • Disturbing the peace was reported on Highway 49 North in Mariposa. • Assault and battery was investigated on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • Petty theft was reported on Granite Dome Road in Lushmeadows. • There was a suspicious vehicle on Harris Cutoff Road in Ponderosa Basin.
July 21 – A petty theft report was taken on Highway 49 North in Mariposa. • Unauthorized use of a credit card was reported on 10th Street in Mariposa. • Suspicious circumstances were investigated on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Reckless driving was reported on Wawona Road in Wawona.
July 22 – A suspicious person was reported on Harris Cutoff Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Deputies investigated violation of a court order on Varain Road in Mariposa. • Stalking was alleged on Silver Bar Road in Mariposa. • There was a rape reported on Parmabelle Road in Ponderosa Basin.
July 23 – Report no available.
July 24 – A sex offender registration violation was reported on Old Oak Lane in Mariposa. • There was a domestic disturbance reported on Highway 49 North in Mariposa. • Four sex offender violations were investigated in Lake Don Pedro. They were on Ranchito Drive, Maravilla Drive, Gusanillo Court and Ernst Road. • Unsafe shooting was investigated on Carelton Road in Mariposa.
July 25 – A burglary was reported on Highway 140 in Mariposa.
July 26 – There was a suspicious person on Jones Street in Mariposa. • Vandalism was reported on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • There was a report of harassment on Texas Hill Road in Coulterville. • A runaway was reported on Ben Hur Road in Mariposa

The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
