JAIL BOOKING REPORT

Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

July 6 – Fernando Gomez Perez, 50, Gilroy, was arrested for transporting a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and driving under a suspended license.

July 7 – No bookings to report.

July 8 – Tomas Martinez, 28, Mariposa, was arrested for a fugitive warrant. • Christopher Micheal Mccurdy, 38, Mariposa, was arrested for violation of parole and possession of a controlled substance. • Tyler Harris Creegan, 46, Mariposa, was arrested for burglary, grand theft auto, vehicle theft and possession of burglary tools.

July 9 – Larry Wilburn Mccall, 59, Mariposa, was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.

July 10 – Keila Shea Marciel Strand, 33, Mariposa, was arrested for driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher. • Heather Baumann, 37, Mariposa, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, corporal injury to a spouse and disorderly conduct involving alcohol. • Matthew Alan Alsup, 36, Mariposa, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and obstructing a public officer.

July 11 – Robert Ray Cummings, 51, Modesto, was arrested for preventing or dissuading a victim/witness. • Kaleb Shane Kimbro, 24, Mariposa, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, threatening crime with intent to terrorize and obstructing a public officer. • Eric Stanley Carlson, 67, La Grange, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher. • April Amelia Guy, 47, Mariposa, was arrested for battery with serious bodily injury.

July 12 – Zoila Pleasant, 58, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, providing a false vehicle registration and probation violation. • Katherine Elizabeth Ingalls, 49, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia and being under the influence of a controlled substance. • Matthew Alan Alsup, 36, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct while under the influence of drugs.

SHERIFF’S REPORT

July 6 – A fire was reported on Banderilla Drive in Don Pedro. • Grand theft occurred on Usona Ridge Road in Woodland. • Fraud occurred on East Whitlock Road in Midpines.

July 7 – Trespassing occurred on Bootjack Lane in Bootjack. • Child abuse was reported on Sierra Vista Way in Woodland. • Harassment occurred on Usona Road in Woodland. • Violation of a court order occurred on Whitmore Drive in Ponderosa Basin.

July 8 – A suspicious person was reported on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • Vandalism occurred on Jessie Street in Mariposa. • A traffic collision was reported on Highway 140 in Catheys Valley. • An ambulance was requested on Hites Cove Road in Mariposa.

July 9 – Grand theft was reported on Highway 49 North in Mariposa. • A sex offender registration inquiry occurred on Hirsch Road in Woodland. • A house check was requested on Boyer Road in Woodland. • A suspicious person was reported on Lemee Lane in Mariposa.

July 10 – A violation of a domestic violence order occurred on Hornitos Road in Catheys Valley. • Burglary was reported on East Westfall Road in Mariposa. • A scam was reported on Ponderosa Court in Ponderosa Basin. • An animal was reported on Cricket Hill Road in Ponderosa Basin.

July 11 – A house check was requested on West Whitlock Road in Mariposa. • Harassment was reported on St. Andrews Road in Mariposa. • Unauthorized use of a credit card/account occurred on Ben Hur Road in Mariposa.

July 12 – A 911 hangup occurred on Mt. Bullion Ridge Road in Mt. Bullion. • Vandalism was reported on Bull Creek Road in Mariposa. • An animal was reported on Sierra Drive in Greeley Hill. • Trespassing was reported on Ben Hur Road in Mariposa.

The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
