JAIL BOOKING REPORT

Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

April 6 – Ernesto Gonzalez-Velazco, 36, Catheys Valley, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol.

April 8 – Sherise Ann Miller, 50, Coulterville, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

SHERIFF’S REPORT

April 6 – A hit and run/property damage occurred at Highway 49 and Highway 140 in Mariposa. • A burglar alarm was reported on Lemme Lane in Mariposa. • A welfare check was requested on Parmabelle Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Someone was disturbing the peace on Bullion Street in Mariposa. • Suspicious circumstances were reported on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin.

April 7 – Petty theft was reported on Coakley Circle in Mariposa. • Fraud occurred on Ponderosa Way in Greeley Hill. • Grand theft was reported on Mt. Bullion Cut-Off Road in Mt. Bullion. • Assault/battery occurred on Scott Road in Mariposa. • An animal was reported on East Whitlock Road in Midpines.

April 8 – A suspicious person was reported on Hospital Road in Mariposa. • Someone was a danger to self of others on Cole Road in Bootjack. • An ambulance was requested on Bear Valley Road in Bear Valley. • A burglary was reported on Highway 140 in Catheys Valley. • A domestic disturbance occurred on Vista Verde Circle in Don Pedro.

April 9 – Vandalism occurred on Greeley Hill Road in Greeley Hill. • Suspicious circumstances were reported on Cole Road in Bootjack. • A fire was reported on Highway 49 North in Mt. Bullion. • A welfare check was requested on West Whitlock Road in Midpines. • Harassment was reported on Jones Street in Mariposa.

April 10 – Grand theft was reported on Triangle Road in Mariposa. • A welfare check occurred on Yaqui Gulch Road in Mariposa. • A fire was reported on West Whitlock Road in Mt. Bullion. • Petty theft occurred on Totokon Road in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on Coyote Court in Bootjack.

April 11 – An animal was reported on Hunters Valley Road in Bear Valley. • A house check was requested on Dogtown Road in Greeley Hill. • A violation of a court order occurred on Ernst Road in Greeley Hill. • A fire was reported on Highway 140 in Mt. Bullion. • A traffic stop occurred on Highway 140 in Catheys Valley.

April 12 – A follow up occurred on St. Andrews Road in Mariposa. • Child molestation was reported on Adobe Court in Mariposa. • A 911 hangup occurred on Morrissey Road in Mt. Bullion. • An ambulance was requested on Whitmore Drive in Ponderosa Basin. • A welfare check occurred on Silva Road in Bootjack.

The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
