Are you ready to get your “Mad Hatter” on?
If so, the fourth annual Mariposa Museum and History Center Mother’s Day Tea Party is just the ticket.
The “Mad Hatter Mother’s Day Tea Party” will be held on Saturday, May 9, at the museum.
There are two options to enjoy the tea and treats.
The first is VIP seating inside the historic Counts House at the museum. That option is $50 per person and will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Seating is limited
There will be full-service tea in various flavors along with smoked salmon and cream cheese, cucumber-herb with cream cheese, chicken salad, ham and cheese tea sandwiches as well as pastries, tarts and more.
The second option is outside seating on the lawn at the Counts House.
This option is also from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the cost is $35 a person.
Tea will be served in a variety of flavors. Also served will be cucumber-herb with cream cheese, ham and cheese tea sandwiches along with pastries and tarts.
This, too, has limited seating.

There will also be a raffle during the event that will feature prizes including dinner, a spa session, wine and more. Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20.
In addition, participants are encouraged to wear their best Mad Hatter outfit and/or hat for a chance to win a prize.
All of the funds raised will go back into supporting the museum, which is located at 5119 Jessie Street in Mariposa.
