MCHS seniors selected to play in Lions International All-Star games

The Lions International All Star Football/Flag Football games will take place Saturday, June 20 at Tracy High School’s Wayne Schneider Stadium (315 E. 11th Street in Tracy).

General admission tickets are available now through GoFan. com for $15.

The Lions All-Star Football Game has been a proud tradition in the Central California region for decades.

Each year, this event brings together the top graduating senior football players from high schools throughout the region to compete in one final high school football game.

Organized by the District 4-A1 Lions Club, this annual event not only showcases outstanding athletic talent but also raises funds for various Lions Club charitable initiatives that benefit the local community.

The North team features athletes from Amador, Argonaut, Bear Creek, Bret Harte, Calaveras, East Union, Edison, Escalon, Franklin, Kimball, Lathrop, Lincoln, Linden, Lodi, Manteca, McNair, Merrill West, Millennium, Ripon, Ripon Christian, St. Mary’s, Sierra, Sonora, Stagg, Summerville, Tokay, Tracy and Weston Ranch.

The South team features athletes from Atwater, Beyer, Big Valley, Buhach Colony, Central Catholic, Central Valley, Ceres, Delhi, Denair, Downey, El Capitan, Enochs, Golden Valley, Grace Davis, Gregori, Gustine, Hilmar, Hughson, Johansen, LeGrand, Livingston, Los Banos, Mariposa, Merced, Modesto, Modesto Christian, Oakdale, Orestimba, Pacheco, Patterson, Pitman, Riverbank, Stoneridge and Turlock.

Athletes rostered from Mariposa County High School include Laten Butler and Juniper Helling.
