The Madera County District Attorney’s Office announced the sentencing of a man convicted last month in Madera County Superior Court on multiple charges of lewd acts upon a child.

On April 6, Robert Raymond Verduzco was sentenced to 60 years to life in state prison by the Judge Ernie LiCalsi.

On March 2 a jury found Verduzco guilty of four counts of lewd acts upon a child involving three separate minor victims.

The DA’s office extended its gratitude to the victims “for their courage in coming forward and testifying at trial, helping to ensure that Verduzco was brought to justice.

The DA additionally thanked the Madera County Sheriff’s Office for its thorough investigation and assistance in the prosecution of the case and Victim Services Advocate Alejandra Briano for her dedicated support to the victims throughout the process.
