Made in Mariposa is holding a class on May 9.

The class is Pounded Flower Stationery, create your own cards using the power of flowers.

The class will teach participants how to use flower pigments to create beautiful cards and stationary, just in time for Mother’s Day.

The class will start at 1 p.m. on May 9 at the Made in Mariposa Store, 5022 B, Highway 140 in Mariposa.

The class is being taught by Laura Smith from Dave and Laura’s Gourds and Glass.

The cost of the class is $20, which will include supplies and materials to make the cards.

Seats are available and people come by the store or call (209) 966-2213 to reserve a place.
