Happy Burger Diner is collaborating with Soroptimist International of Mariposa to support Soroptimist’s mission to provide women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment, specifically those facing significant obstacles.
The fundraiser will be held at Happy Burger Diner in Mariposa from 2-8 p.m.. on Saturday, Oct. 17.
Happy Burger is donating a percentage of their proceeds from the evening to Soroptimist. The Mariposa community is invited to enjoy a good meal and support local business Happy Burger Diner and Soroptimist International of Mariposa during this event.
Happy Burger Diner’s donation will help pay for Soroptimist’s efforts to achieve their mission locally by giving scholarships to graduating seniors, presenting monetary awards to women that are the heads of their households seeking further education, and donating funds and services to local organizations including Mountain Crisis, Manna House, Helping Hands and CASA.
