I’ve taken the time to actually look into the qualifications of the candidates for Assessor Recorder, and the difference is clear.
Tammie Guenthart brings 22 years of experience in that office. That’s not something you replace overnight.
Even more impressive, five members of her team — including Tammie — hold advanced appraiser certifications. That level of in-house expertise matters when you’re dealing with property assessments that impact every property owner in this county.
When she was appointed, the office didn’t skip a beat. There was no learning curve, no disruption — just continuity.
That’s exactly what we should want in a role this important.
