Gold Dust Dancers

Open Mic

Open Mic in Oakhurst returns to the great outdoors at Queen’s Inn By the River beer garden and wine bar (41139 Highway 41) from 6:30 – 9 p.m. every Thursday. Hosted by Nicole and Terry Hoke – the event is free to attend and participate.

Yosemite Jazz Band

The Yosemite Jazz Band returns to the Pizza Factory (40120 Highway 41) in Oakhurst on Thursday evenings through September from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Madera County Food Bank

The Madera County Food Bank distributes free food at the Oakhurst Community Center (39800 Road 425B in Oakhurst) usually on the second Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon including May 14. For more information contact Mary Bowman at (559) 676-5637.

Farmers Market in Oakhurst

The Farmers Market returns to Bryant’s Ace Hardware (40596 Westlake Drive) in Oakhurst on Thursday, May 14 from 4-7 p.m. and continues weekly through October.

Kiwanis dinner fundraiser

Sierra Oakhurst Kiwanis plans a fundraising Chicken Dinner on Friday, May 15 at the Oakhurst Community Center from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. The dinner costs $15 and includes thighs, baked beans, potato salad and cookies. Oakhurst Yosemite Auto Show

The community is invited to the 4th annual Oakhurst Yosemite Auto Show on Saturday, May 16 in the parking lot at Napa Auto Parts (40322 Junction Drive) in Oakhurst from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event benefits local educators and students. For more information visit www.oakhurstyosemiteautoshow.com.

Mountain Artisans Market

Held on the third Saturday of each month, Mountain Artisans Market returns to Fresno Flats Historic Village and Park (49777 School Road) in Oakhurst on May 16 from 4-9 p.m.

Glorious Garden Tour

Madera Master Gardeners invite the community to the Glorious Garden Tour of gardens in Coarsegold and Oakhurst including a plant sale at Fresno Flats on Saturday, May 16. Tickets are available at area businesses including Western Sierra Nursery, Oakhurst Business Center and Market House Collective in Oakhurst and at Mountain Feed and Nursery and Oak Creek Mobile Home park in Coarsegold. $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event.

Oakhurst Community Concert Band

Mountain Christian Center (40299 Highway 49) in Oakhurst will host the Oakhurst Community Concert Band on Sunday, May 17 at 3 p.m. for a free Spring Concert.

Helping One Woman Oakhurst

Helping One Woman (HOW) will gather on Tuesday, May 19 at the Oakhurst Community Center with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. to honor Georgia Kopel. The deadline to sign up at MySOSevent is May 14 at 11 a.m. For more information contact HOWOakhurst@helpingonewoman.org.

Tower Quartet

Friends of the Oakhurst Branch Library (FOBL) will host book sales on seven Saturdays in 2026 at the library located at 49044 Civic Circle in Oakhurst, including June 6 $10/bag (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.), Aug. 1 (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.), Oct. 3 Sierra Art Trails Art & Craft Book Sale (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.), Nov. 7 Special Holiday Sale (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.) and Dec. 5 $10/bag (9 a.m. – 2 p.m.).

Oakhurst Pride March and Picnic

The second annual Oakhurst Pride March and Picnic will take place on Saturday, June 13 as participants gather at the library at 9:45 a.m., march begins at 10 a.m. along Highway 41 between Road 426 and Highway 49. At noon the group will join in a BYO picnic at Oakhurst Community Park for the first Pride Festival.
