North Fork Loggers Jamboree deemed success

North Fork’s own Nate Hodges was again named Champion Logger at the 66th Annual Mid-Sierra Loggers Jamboree held July 4-5 at the North Fork Recreation Center.

The event is brought to the community by the nonprofit North Fork Boosters Club which currently owns the rec center and the North Fork Town Hall.

This marks the 17th time Hodges has captured the Champion Logger honor, non-consecutively. Hodges is a local builder, entrepreneur and owner of Yosemite Axe Throwing in Oakhurst, Mammoth, Tahoe and Big Bear.

When it comes to royalty, Karissa Owen was crowned queen of the event while Gracie Hale was named Junior Princess and Winona Evans was dubbed Little Princess.
