The Oakhurst Art & Wine Hop returns for a third year Thursday, May 21 from 5 to 8 p.m., launching a fresh season of art, wine, food and community in the heart of Oakhurst near Yosemite National Park.

The third-Thursday event runs from May through October and has quickly grown into one of the area’s most anticipated seasonal experiences. Locals and visitors alike are invited to explore galleries, tasting rooms and businesses transformed into vibrant art destinations for the evening.

Returning participating locations include Yosemite Wine Tails, Yosemite Sierra Artists Gallery, Bodys by Boyd, Yosemite Gateway Art Center, Oakhurst Spirits Distillery and Elderberry House. Fairfield Inn & Suites Oakhurst Yosemite is new this year.

Guests can enjoy free art viewing featuring more than 30 local and regional artists throughout participating venues while tasting wines from May’s featured wineries including Tom Mackey Cellars, Barton Family Wines (Grey Wolf), Le Vigne Winery, Remeadies Vineyard, Papagni Wines, Rescue Dog Wines and Cry Baby Wine.

And visitors nosh on local favorites like pizza, tacos and small bites with wine, beer and specialty cocktails offered by participating businesses and food vendors.

A featured highlight this month is the Au Naturale figurative art exhibition at Gina Mims’ The Gallery at Oakhurst Spirits, showcasing artwork that celebrates the beauty and expression of the human form through a variety of artistic styles and mediums.

It’s incredible to see how much the event has grown in just three years,” said Mims, co-founder of the event with Colette Goga.We continue to attract amazing artists each season and the community support has been incredible. We’re excited to welcome both returning favorites and new artists to the hop.

Artist participation for the 2026 season is nearly full, Mims said, though a limited number of opportunities remain for artists, wineries and food vendors interested in joining the event.

Wine tasting during the Hop is available for $20 and includes a keepsake tasting glass. Guests who return with their glass at future events can participate in tasting for $10.

We really focus on showcasing amazing California wines and creating a fun, approachable experience for everyone,” said Goga, owner of Yosemite Wine Tails.People can discover new varietals, meet the wineries, enjoy the art and then continue the evening after the Hop at Yosemite Wine Tails.

When the hop ends at 8 p.m. guests are invited to stop by Yosemite Wine Tails to wind down for the night and relax for a bit longer — and receive a 10 percent discount on featured varietals.
