Local artist and author Vicki D. Thomas will be the next featured speaker at the Fireside Chat series.
The series is being presented by the Mariposa Museum and History Center. Thomas will be featured on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 1 p.m.
She will share passages from her book series, a young adult fantasy, and her new release, “The Bag O’Bones.”
She is also a talented watercolor artists, known for her vividly painted flowers and elegant floral still-life pieces.
Her books and paintings will be available for purchase at the event.
Admission is free and refreshments will be provided. It will be held in the Carriage House Meeting Room at the museum. It does not include admission to the museum.
