My name is Larissa Bond. I have been a resident of Mariposa for 20 years, but I teach junior high in Ahwahnee. As a teacher in Madera County I had the good fortune to have Lisa Edelheit as my site representative for our union.
She was the most knowledgeable person I could have ever hoped for. Her ability to work through the numbers during negotiations and remember our contract and bargaining unit information was phenomenal.
We were not her only district, nor her biggest. She was capable and competent in each situation that came up. The calm strength never wavered and we were a stronger union for it. Her skill and character in this role was never questioned and because of this I strongly support her for Mariposa County Board of Supervisors District 1 in the June 2 primary.
