Madera County Sheriff’s Deputy Jeffrey Saechao is the School Resource Deputy serving Yosemite High School for the 2026- 2027 school year. MCSO said School Resource Deputies are on campus to build relationships with students and staff, support a safe learning environment and be a familiar, trusted face throughout the school year.

‘High Ground’ documentary world premiere

Local nonprofit Caring Veterans of America is planning a Veterans Stand Down on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at The Grove Church (42461 Highway 49) in Ahwahnee.
