Robert Louis Lowrimore passed away on June 17, 2026, in Merced at the age of 88.
He was born in Merced on May 12, 1938, to Louis and Daisy Lowrimore, both of whom preceded him in death.
Bob lived a long, memorable and fulfilling life and was grateful for the many blessings he experienced along the way.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Donna. Together, they raised three sons: Gregg (Katherine) of Erie, Colo., Mark (Tina) of Mariposa and Jeff of Bend, Ore. He is also the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren.
The family originally lived in La Miranda, Calif., before moving to Mariposa in 1977. All three sons graduated from Mariposa County High School.
Throughout his life, Bob cherished the many friendships he made and the connections he built within his community.
Bob spent his career in banking and finance and later became a self-employed real estate appraiser. He was an active member of the Mariposa Lions Club and enjoyed coaching Little League, where he positively impacted the lives of many young people.
In accordance with his wishes, Bob has been cremated and no memorial service will be held.
Bob will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
