Officials with the long-awaited North Fork Mono Casino announced a scheduled grand opening date for 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
The resort located off Highway 99 in Madera offers gaming, dining and entertainment.
Developed by the North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians of California and managed by Station Casinos, the new complex spans 264,000 square feet with a 100,000 square foot gaming floor featuring more than 2,400 slot machines, 40 table games, eight dining venues and four bars.
The North Fork Rancheria is a federally recognized tribal government whose traditional community is in the Sierra Nevada foothills near North Fork. Since the restoration of its federally recognized status in 1983, the tribe has established modern tribal governing institutions to improve the lives of its tribal citizens.
Tribal officials said the $725 million casino operation in Madera represents a significant investment in the Central Valley economy, creating more than 1,500 local jobs across gaming, hospitality and food and beverage options.
Guests dining on the property will choose from premium steaks and fresh seafood at Manzanita Steakhouse to game-day favorites at the sports-oriented Clubhouse 99, along with four unique bars located throughout the property.
The Food Hall, located steps from the gaming floor, will offer convenient dining with six unique concepts under one roof: Café Asia, Chick Republic, Smash Stack Burger, Pizza Fiore, Kopiah Craft Coffee and Fuego Mexican
Kitchen.
A 200-room hotel is expected to open on the 305-acre parcel of land in 2027.
The North Fork Mono Casino is located at 17770 Golden State Boulevard in Madera.
