Music on the Green continues its 36th season this weekend as the Mariposa County Arts Council presents another round of free live performances at the Mariposa County Art Park in downtown Mariposa.

Kai Asmund will make his Music on the Green debut on Friday, June 26. Asmund is an up and coming folk singer-songwriter from North Fork in Eastern Madera County. In the last year, Asmund has been heavily involved and making waves in the live music scene in Madera, Mariposa and Fresno counties … and beyond.

On Saturday, June 27, folk singer-songwriter Jonathan Low-fi will return to the Art Park stage. Low-fi is from Fresno and made quite an impression at his performance at Music on the Green last season.

He has been busy performing at venues and festivals throughout central California from the coast to the foothills.

Performances begin at 7 p.m. at the Mariposa County Art Park, located at 5013 Highway 140 in downtown Mariposa. Parking is available along 4th and 5th streets, with accessible pedestrian access via the lower 5th Street parking lot through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry.
