For the past year, four students from Monarch Academy High School have participated in the Mother Lode Job Training program to prepare for employment and develop the soft skills needed to succeed in the public sector.

Monarch Academy thanked Stacey Patterson for warmly welcoming the students into the program, providing patient guidance and sharing the practical wisdom that helps young people find and keep jobs.

The group also thanked Vanessa Lombera for going with the students from Monarch Academy.

Under her mentorship, students refreshed and updated their resumes, researched occupations that interest them and learned the specific qualifications and requirements for those roles.

The Mother Lode Job Training experience has proven to be highly valuable for Monarch Academy students.

Through hands-on lessons and one-on-one support, participants gained greater confidence in workplace communication, job-seeking strategies and professional behavior.
