The junior ranks of volleyball in Mariposa County are showing big success this year.
There are two middle school teams playing this year and both are 9-1 for the season.
The “B” team is made up of girls in grades six and seven while the “A” team is mainly seventh and eight grade athletes.
Coaches for the teams are Christina Packard and Kelly Harris.
As of last week, each team had a 9-1 record with just a few games left to play.
The team will play its final game on Thursday, Sept. 24 at Weaver. Prior to that, they had games against Livingston, McSwain and Le Grand.
