The seventh annual Lushmeadows Lights is returning.
The popular Lushmeadows Lights drive-thru Christmas lights contest is back for its seventh year on Friday, Dec. 11, from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Hosted by the Woodland Elementary Boosters, this festive community tradition invites families to cruise through the Lushmeadows neighborhood, enjoy dazzling holiday displays and vote for their favorites — all while supporting local students.
This year’s event offers even more holiday cheer with photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hot cocoa, warm apple cider and gift shopping from local craft vendors at Sierra Cider.
Local food favorites, including Lemon Drop, Yosemite Pizza, Tater Jo’s and All About the Wurst, will serve up delicious eats and donate a portion of their sales to Woodland Elementary School.
Event maps are available at the new entrance on Meadow Lane near the fire station, just before the turn to Sierra Cider. After taking in the lights, attendees can cast their votes for the best-decorated homes, with prizes for first, second, third place and honorable mention.
Woodland Elementary Boosters is inviting local businesses, families, and community members to support Lushmeadows Lights through a variety of holiday sponsorship opportunities. These sponsorships offer a chance to celebrate the Christmas season, support the local community and help make the holiday event special for everyone.
Sponsors will receive recognition through social media, sponsor banners and the Lushmeadows Lights map, depending on their sponsorship level. All sponsors will also receive exclusive access to the VIP lounge area at Sierra Cider, along with complimentary treats and thank-you gifts.
Four sponsorship opportunities are available:
• Gold Sponsor, $200: Includes a business or family shoutout on social media with a logo, logo placement on the sponsor banner, business or family name or logo on the Lushmeadows Lights map, a Lushmeadows Lights holiday ornament and VIP lounge access at Sierra Cider.
Silver Sponsor, $150: Includes a business or family shout-out on social media, business name on the sponsor banner, business or family name on the Lushmeadows Lights map and VIP lounge access at Sierra Cider.
Bronze Sponsor, $75: Includes a business or family name shout-out on social media, name placement on the sponsor banner, and VIP lounge access at Sierra Cider.
Service Sponsor: Businesses and community members can contribute donated goods or services in lieu of a monetary sponsorship. Benefits include a business or family shout-out on social media with a logo, logo placement on the sponsor banner and VIP lounge access at Sierra Cider.
The sponsorship program provides an opportunity for local businesses to increase their visibility during the holiday season while allowing families to participate in supporting a community event.
