Keep Visitor Center in same place

musicWave

Editor,

The Mariposa County Visitor Center should stay where it is.

The location and parking make it easy and convenient to stop and get information before continuing on and entering Yosemite.

The Visitor Center also gives information on camping, restaurants and current weather and road conditions. We help with where to stay, camping, picnics, swimming, rafting and kayaking on the Merced River.

The Visitor Center also posts message boards outside when and if there are major wildfires and up-to-date road and weather information.

Keep the Visitor Center where it is and let the employees do their jobs!
