Wine tasting and more

Guests can purchase an official Oakhurst Art & Wine Hop keepsake tasting glass for $20 at participating tasting locations. Returning guests may bring back their Art Hop glass and purchase a tasting wristband for just $10.

Featured wineries in August so far include Hearst Ranch Winery, Arbuckle Ridge Winery, Fresno State Winery, Highway 12 Winery, Coqouelicot Estate Vineyard, Papagni Winery and Quady Winery. And a cocktail taste will be available from Oakhurst Spirits Distillery.

Due to this year’s exceptionally early grape harvest, participation from some wineries was still being finalized at press time.

Food vendors this month are set to include My Country Kitchen, L&J Mexican, The Green Machine, Clash, Sierra Ranch Chili and Tater Jo’s.

New this fall

Applications are now open for the new Art & Wine Hop Christmas Market taking place during the season finale on Thursday, Oct. 15.

The Christmas Market expands Art Hop by welcoming artists, makers, crafters and artisan vendors offering handcrafted gifts, holiday décor, specialty foods, jewelry, home goods and one-of-a-kind creations just in time to kick off the holiday shopping season.

“We’re excited to introduce the Art & Wine Hop Christmas Market as a way to celebrate the holidays while showcasing even more of the incredible creativity our community has to offer,” said Yosemite Wine Tails owner and Art Hop co-founder Colette Goga.

It’s the perfect opportunity to shop local, support artists and makers and enjoy a festive evening in Oakhurst.

Artists and makers interested in participating in the October Christmas Market are encouraged to apply soon as space is limited.

The Oakhurst Art & Wine Hop continues to grow as one of the Sierra foothills’ favorite monthly events, bringing together art, wine, food, music and community in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
