Has to be Edelheit

Editor,

The choice for the Mariposa District 1 Board of Supervisors is clear; it has to be Lisa Edelheit. Our endorsement comes from years of working closely with Lisa.

Lisa Edelheit is one of those hard-to-find people who follow through and does so with integrity. Lisa worked with the Visalia Unified Teachers Association (VUTA) for more than 10 years.

During her time as our California Teachers Association staff member, Lisa analyzed $500 million budgets, carefully examined complicated contract language and asked many pointed questions to best represent our membership. She is a driven worker and is task oriented.

One of her best qualities is her ability to synthesize information and define a clear strategy to best use the data. She is accustomed to listening intently, thinking through possible solutions and executing a collective vision. Lisa has worked with both conservative and liberal union members with fairness and superb representation.

Lisa has lived in rural areas for many years, and she understands the needs of those who live there. She has the energy and drive to make a difference for you. She is the person you want advocating for the needs of your area.

If you want to elect someone that you can count on, it is Lisa Edelheit for board of supervisors.

Greg Price, former VUTA President
Patrick Hemphill, VUTA President
