Endorses Lisa Edelheit

Editor,

I am writing to offer my strong endorsement of Lisa Edelheit for the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors.

I had the privilege of working closely with Lisa for over five years during my time as president of the El Nido Teachers Association, while she served as our Fresno CTA Chapter Representative. Throughout that time, she proved herself to be an exceptional advocate, a knowledgeable leader and a dedicated professional.

Lisa consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of the legal rights and legislative framework governing teachers’ associations. Her expertise was invaluable to our chapter, particularly during complex situations that required both clarity and confidence. She was not only well-versed in the law, but also highly skilled at applying that knowledge in practical and effective ways.

One of Lisa’s greatest strengths is her extensive knowledge of the bargaining process. She guided our team through negotiations with professionalism and determination, ultimately helping us achieve successful outcomes that benefited our members. Her leadership fostered collaboration, trust and strong communication — qualities that are essential in public service.

Beyond her technical expertise, Lisa brings integrity, commitment and a genuine desire to serve her community. I have no doubt that she will bring the same level of dedication and effectiveness to the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors.

I wholeheartedly recommend Lisa Edelheit and encourage the community to support her candidacy.

Sincerely,
Andrea Beltz, M.Ed
President El Nido Teachers Association
