A story last week on a county ordinance that was rescinded, that gave the county administrator officer authority over appointed elected officials was a regular agenda item on April 7. It was not on the consent agenda.

A story last week on the Mariposa County Board of Supervisor’s denying a pay increase to District Attorney Walter Wall suggested County Administrative Officer Joe Lynch received a salary increase in February. In fact, Lynch’s salary remained the same at $218,000, but his new employment contract gave him a full year’s salary as severance if he is fired.
