Bigelow’s experience needed

Editor,

Frank Bigelow is a true public servant.

Madera just encumbered our county with the largest public works project in its history — over $130 million.

Development in the south part of our district is about to multiply significantly! We’ve already felt the pain of neglect on Highway 41. Our county reserves are critically low.

We need Frank’s experience on the board as they manage this project and debt.

Frank has been a lifelong advocate for fire safety including 49 years of volunteer fire service. He is acutely aware and aligned with our concerns regarding fire protection, readiness, egress issues, lack of maintained fire roads, staffing shortages and lack of evacuation strategies.

Frank is an advocate for our agricultural community members and will continue to represent water management concerns.

Frank understands public works, challenges related to waste management, road maintenance and special districts.

These are complex issues and we have an opportunity to elect a uniquely equipped supervisor to “meet the moment.

Frank Bigelow recognizes the critical needs we have in our county right now and his expertise and his desire to take care of the future of Eastern Madera County and protect our rural communities is his motivation for running.

I support Frank Bigelow for Madera County District 5 Supervisor because I care about good governance and our rural district.

I know the difference between experience and enthusiasm and we need experience to set us up for stability during these financial crossroads.

Now is not the time for a trainee. Elect Frank Bigelow.
