Youth baseball, softball, football and cheer registration is happening now

If you haven’t registered yet for Little League baseball, Mariposa Softball or Mariposa Bears football and cheer, don’t wait any longer because registration deadlines are quickly approaching.

Little League Baseball

Mariposa County Little League baseball registration is currently open for the upcoming 2026 season.

Registration for the Major and Minor leagues closes Feb. 7 while registration for all remaining age groups close on Feb. 20.

• Ages four and five: eligible for T-Ball

• Ages six and seven: eligible for Rookies

• Ages seven through 10: eligible for Minor League

• Ages nine through 12: eligible for Major League

• Ages 11-13: eligible for 50/70 Intermediate League

• Ages 13-14: eligible for Juniors Division

For T-ball and Coach Pitch/Rookies registration is $100, for the Minor League and above, registration is $125.

Families registering multiple children receive a discount of $10 for the additional children.

Mariposa Softball

Registration for Mariposa Girls Softball is currently open and closes March 7.

Coach applications and scholarship requests

are also available.
The age divisions include:

• 4U – 3 and 4 year olds
• 6U – 5 and 6 year olds
• 8U – 7 and 8 year olds
• 10U – 9 and 10 year olds
• 12U – 11 and 12 year olds
• 14U – 13 and 14 year olds
• 16U – 15 and 16 year olds
• 18U – 17 and 18 year olds

The cost for 4U and 6U is $60 per player and all remaining age groups are $100 per player with a $20 discount for each additional player.

Coaching requirements for Mariposa Girls Softball require that all coaches and co-coaches be age 25 and up.

Assistant coaches must be age 18 or older.

Junior coaches must be at least three years older than the age group they are assisting with.

Mariposa Bears Football and Cheer

Registration officially opened Feb. 1 for the 2026 season of Mariposa Bears Football and Cheer.

Come out to register and grab a free hot dog at Woodland Park (3394 Woodland Drive) on Feb. 7 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The cost for football is $325 and the cost for cheer is $525.

There is a registration special for all six, seven and eight year old football players of $200.

A birth certificate and a completed physical form are required.

Families can register now and pay later.
