Reader Beth Tomsick submitted this photo take by her son, John Tomsick, at the Saturday, June 27, Mariposa Yosemite Symphony Orchestra concert. The music included several lively patriotic songs, as well as two pieces by Aaron Copland. The outdoor setting was tranquil with a lake and a fountain in the background, and the audience was appreciative of the music. Kudos to director and composer/ arranger Les Marsden and his orchestra.
