Reader Daniel Ingram of Catheys Valley snapped this shot of the Northern Lights last week. Known officials as the aurora borealis, the “lights” happen as a result of solar flairs. Last week, one of the largest solar flares in decades was reported, meaning the Northern Lights were visible in many places, including as far south as Florida. Do you have a photo for this feature?
