Will you consider a bribe?

Editor,

The current U.S. president has offered American voters $5,000 each if the Republicans hold control of the House after the midterms.

Of course, the offer is unlawful, laughable and insulting, and only underscores the desperation of a failing party. The current District 5 Congressman is also desperate.

Tom McClintock is doing photo ops with chambers of commerce and businesses unrelated to his district, meanwhile dodging his constituents and rubber-stamping every MAGA backed item that comes across his desk.

He has not challenged any of the unlawful activity undertaken by the federal government.

Where’s the courage?

You’ll find it in Michael Masuda, the candidate with a plan, with respect for rural communities and veterans. I hope my mountain neighbors have the courage to vote for a Democrat, for a change for the better.

As long as Trump has unchecked greed and power, things will get even worse for everyone but the billionaires. McClintock has proven he does not have the courage to fight for us and he takes our votes for granted.

Please join me in choosing Michael Masuda for District 5 Congressman. Anyone who does their research will agree: Masuda will fight for us.
