Another live music weekend is coming up as the Mariposa County Arts Council presents another round of free live performances at the Mariposa County Art Park in downtown Mariposa.

Mariposa Local, Cheyenne Hernandez, will present her musical ensemble for Music on the Green on Friday, Aug. 21. Expect a California folk, world music fusion with a healthy dose of positive vibes.

On Saturday, Aug. 22, Merced-based Beat Novo will perform at Music on the Green. Beat Novo is a Latin-influenced band featuring Cheyenne Hernandez as a lead vocalist.

Performances begin at 7 p.m. at the Mariposa County Art Park, located at 5013 Highway 140 in downtown Mariposa.

Parking is available along 4th and 5th streets, with accessible pedestrian access via the lower 5th Street parking lot through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry.

Tips for the performers are encouraged.
