To schedule an appointment call the MES office at (209) 742-0340.
Kindergarten requires that children turn age five before Sept. 1, 2025 to be eligible to register.
Registration packets will be available at MES during Kinder Round-Up.
Children are eligible for the 2025-2026 Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program if they turn age four by Sept. 1, 2025.
TK is the first year of a two-year kindergarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate.
It’s important to note that TK may not be available at certain school sites.
For questions about TK, contact Educational Services at (209) 742-0241.
When attending Kinder Round-Up, it’s important to bring the child’s birth certificate, immunization records and the child being registered.
Applicants will receive a kindergarten readiness booklet and a fun goodie bag of school essentials.
Children being registered will be taking a pre-kindergarten assessment and a copy of the results will be provided.
People attending Kinder Round-Up should plan to be there approximately 30 minutes.
For questions, call Sharon Isaacs at (209) 742-0340 or Educational Services at (209) 742-0214.
