With heavy hearts, we celebrate the remarkable life of Thomas Will II, who went home on Nov. 12, 2024, at the age of 51.

Thomas was born on Jan. 12, 1973, in Tracy, Calif., to his parents, Thomas and Patsy Will, who preceded him in passing.

He was a light that will never be dimmed; all who loved him knew he was a deep soul with a love for writing, golf and family.

Thomas was an extremely talented writer with an ability to immerse readers in his work, evoking emotions and making them feel what he described. He also loved music and spent most of his days listening to his favorite songs. It was a common sight to see him singing along with joy.

During his life, he cherished traveling to concerts, with memorable visits to New Orleans, Washington, Seattle and Germany.

Thomas spent his college years at Fresno State University, where he was a proud member of Sigma Nu. The relationships he built there lasted a lifetime. His fraternity brothers were not just friends but family, and those bonds meant the world to him.

After college, Thomas pursued a successful career in real estate management, finding great achievements in the hospitality industry. He contributed significantly during his time at the Hyatt Regency in Sacramento and later in commercial real estate throughout California’s Central Valley.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Tanya Garcia Will, of Catheys Valley, and their two children, Malcolm Batte and Cole Williams. Thomas and Tanya were lovingly known as “TNT” — dynamite — and their love for one another was profound.

Family was always Thomas’s priority, a fact that shone through in the strong and meaningful relationships he shared with his loved ones.

Thomas is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lesley and Marion Will; and Eladio and Frances Gonzales. He is survived by his sister, Alexis Roberts ( James McClain) of Tracy and brother Brandon Will (Amber Hunstable) of Rib Lake Wis.; his nieces, Mikaela Martinez, Victoria McKay (Ricky), Ciara Topete and Penelope Roberts; and nephews, Joseph Passantino and Payden Roberts.

Extended family members include John Blankenship; Joshua Blankenship ( Jenny); Lesley Williams (Kacey); David Will Sr., David Will II (Gabby); Kimber Loftis (Ricky); John Corrigan (Kristy); Sandra Gonzales York (Michael); Lawrence Gonzales; Cheri Costa (Kris); Desiree Gonzales (Eddie); Aaron Gonzales (Florina); Kabrea York Snyder (Richard); Ashlee Gonzales, Tony Gonzales (Vanessa); Jaren Gonzales; and Jessikka Warren (Frankie).

A memorial service will be held on March 1, 2025, at St Paul’s Lutheran Church in Tracy from 10:30 a.m. to noon with a celebration of life to follow. To honor Thomas’s memory, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.

His family and friends will forever cherish his kindness, wit and the beautiful impact he leaves behind.
