The Yosemite Running Club is back on the trails and welcoming runners of all levels.

The new season begins Sunday, Oct. 19 and runs through the end of May.

The group meets twice a month — first Sundays at 9 a.m. in the Briceburg Bridge parking lot and third Sundays at 9 a.m. at the Mariposa County Courthouse.

The Briceburg run follows the Merced River, while the courthouse run loops downtown along Mariposa Creek.

It’s a chance to get active, enjoy the outdoors and take in the scenic beauty of the area.

All runners are welcome — each course offers 2-mile, 5-mile and 7-mile options, so you can pick the distance that feels right and join the fun.
